The great thing about a DVD is you can watch it with your friends
C#m G#m F#m E
but the best thing about a DVD is you can watch all over again
Every Saturday morning Alan went to the Super Store
After buying the groceries he’d look for a DVD bargain from the basket by the door
This week he found a beauty to reminded him of when he was a boy
The Pyjama Game was a classic the thought of Doris Day made him quiver with joy
Anne was busy in the kitchen making a nice cup of tea
Alan ripped through the cellophane his heart pounding with glee
His sweating hands were shaking as he pushed the buttons on the remote control
He missed the title sequence Anne said I have a nice buttered roll
The screen was filled with colour, funny thought Alan wasn’t it in black and white ?
Anne said Alan where are their Pyjamas ? That young man just gave me a fright
Anne said Alan, they are naked, I was a doctor I know of these things
but don’t I remember Doris Day and Sid Sorokin doing such exciting things
Anne said oh Alan I fear this is not the Pyjama Game
it seems to be in Italian and look they are doing it again
Alan said I don’t believe but we must watch it to the end
on Monday I’ll return it to Safeway but on Sunday we’ll show to all our friends
